prep readinessAs little children get ready to take big steps we are helping parents and children to think about, and practice, some of the skills relevant to prep readiness
Children arrive at Prep with a wide range of skills. Some are ready to sit and listen, others need ways to move to regulate their energies and focus. Some are forming letters and others are working on strengthening fingers for pencil grasps. No matter where your child is at, this group is all about smoothing this big step into smaller, more manageable steps. Dates in January 2021: Mon 18th / Tues 19th / Wed 20th Chapel Hill Uniting Church Hall $120 per day per child 8.30am - 10.00am Ages - Prep in 2021 |

This Lego play based communication group was a great success in 2020
We will be back with more in 2021 and will kick start the year with a small group. Please register your interest for this group and we will endeavour to be responsive to the interest expressed. As this is a popular group, preference will be given to children who can attend all sessions for their age group You can find out more about this approach on our main Groups page. handwriting & other options
Many children will have taken a significant break from handwriting over the holidays....time to get back into it and get ready for the school year
Writing is so much more than letters on a page We'll look at motor skills letter formations concept development and planning a text, all mixed in with fun and games!
